Nathaniel Betz Confirmed as Statewide Organization’s New Finance Director

AUGUSTA - The Maine College Republican State Committee has confirmed the appointment of a new Finance Director. The nomination of Nathaniel Betz (Colby ’09) was unanimously confirmed Saturday at a meeting of the Maine College Republican State Committee in Augusta. Betz also serves as Chairman of the Colby College Republicans, which was named “Best Chapter of the Year” by the Maine College Republican State Committee in April 2007.

Maine College Republican State Chairman Nathaniel Walton praised the statewide organization’s newly confirmed Finance Director: “The Maine College Republicans have a proud tradition of building future leaders of the Republican Party. Nathaniel Betz’s past dedication and commitment to the Republican Party makes it more than certain that he will continue to strengthen that tradition in his new leadership role,” Walton said.

Betz is eager to begin his new responsibilities: “I look forward to working closely with Chairman Walton and other statewide leaders to ensure the Maine College Republicans continue to strengthen and build the Republican Party in Maine in the months and years to come,” Betz said.
